Mandi Petrella, P.E. started working as a geotechnical intern in north Florida before working as a Project Manager for a geotechnical consulting firm in North Carolina for four years.  She joined Geopier as a Project Manager in the Design Center and eventually served in several roles with Geopier including Design Center Manager, Project Engineer for the Great Lakes region, and currently is the Region Engineer for Alabama, South Georgia, and Florida.  

Mandi holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and a MS in Civil Engineering from University of North Carolina Charlotte where she was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi and Chi Epsilon engineering honor societies as an undergraduate and graduate student, respectively.  She was a member of the Women in Transportation Society in Charlotte where she volunteered on the Scholarship Committee, is a current member of ASCE, Geo-Institute, Florida Engineering Society, and currently serves on the National Board of Governor’s for the Order of the Engineer.  

With over 15 years of geotechnical experience, Mandi provides innovative cost-effective solutions to support design consultants, help general contractors win work, and lower overall projects costs for owners.
