Zaid Abuhamdeh joined Geopier in April 2026 and currently serves as a Regional Engineer covering south Texas and southwest Louisiana. In this role, Zaid works closely with geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, owners, and contractors to support the evaluation, design, and implementation of Geopier® ground improvement solutions. His technical focus includes shallow foundation support, settlement reduction, bearing capacity improvement, and global stability enhancement for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure-related projects.
Zaid brings broad geotechnical engineering experience encompassing subsurface exploration review, interpretation of geotechnical reports, foundation system recommendations, and construction-phase support. He supports project teams with preliminary evaluations, load and settlement analyses, modulus-based design approaches, and constructability considerations associated with Geopier® Rammed Aggregate Pier® systems and related ground improvement techniques. His experience also includes collaboration with field crews during installation to ensure design intent, quality control, and performance objectives are met.
Zaid holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas as well as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), allowing him to bridge technical analysis with practical project execution and coordination.
